ABOUT: Captain David Scipione
I was born in 1974 and raised in the city of Niagara Falls, NY. Our family moved to Lewiston, NY in 1985. My TWO favorite things in this world have always been fishing and cooking. I was introduced to fishing very early on in my childhood. There was a lake across the street from our family owned butcher shop and catering business. This is where my passion started from. My fishing interests quickly grew and expanded to the lower Niagara river, Lake Ontario, the upper Niagara river and lake Erie where I spent decades learning and understanding our local fishing areas and how to be a successful angler. Many years were spent fishing along the banks of the Niagara until I obtained my first boat in 1993. 28 years and three boats later, I finally decided it was time to fulfill my dream to become a US Coast Guard certified captain and do what I love for a living. Now, I would love nothing more than to share my enthusiasm and expertise of the incredible fishing opportunities that our local area has to offer with you personally.

NYS FISHING LICENSE
A valid New York State fishing license is required for anyone over the age of 16 years old. Our charters will include all of the fishing equipment/lures and bait that you will need. New York State Sportfishing License can be purchased online at: https://dec.ny.gov/regulatory/permits-licenses/sporting-and-use/sporting/fishing-license
You may also want to consider buying a Canadian fishing license in order to fish both sides of the Niagara River as well as the Niagara bar on Lake Ontario.
WHAT TO WEAR
Our fishing charters are year round. Please dress appropriately for weather conditions. Bring hats and gloves for fall, winter and springtime. Fishing during our colder seasons can be extremely productive and FUN as long as proper clothing is worn. Wind proof outerwear that is waterproof, wool socks and insulated waterproof boots with toe warmers will aid in keeping your feet warm and dry. Winter hats and gloves are essential. An extra pair of gloves could prevent you from getting frost bitten. Upon request we can supply survival suits in several different sizes.
FISH CAUGHT ABOARD OUR BOAT (smallmouth bass are catch and release ONLY)
If you do decide to keep some of your fish we will gladly filet them for you. We recommend to bring ziploc type bags and a cooler with plenty of ice. We always enourage catch and release fishing. Please consider lowering your daily limit in order to help preserve our amazing fishery!

We encourage our customers to take as many pictures and videos of their fishing adventure with us as they would like. We would love to see your pictures on social media pages like Facebook and Instagram.
